Copyright termination and literary publishing discussed

Neil Rosini presented a summary of the termination provisions of the U.S. Copyright Act and Eric Brown spoke about key provisions of literary publishing agreements relating to character rights, at the annual meeting of the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, at the Hilton Hotel in New York, as part of an afternoon panel discussion entitled “From Conception to the Public Domain or Perhaps to Infinity and Beyond: The Life Cycle of Fictional Characters.”
