FWRV Attorneys Again on Super Lawyers List

A dozen FWRV attorneys selected.

For a ninth consecutive year (since 2006), FWRV attorneys have been selected for inclusion in the 2014 publication of Super Lawyers, which is described as “an exceptional list of exceptional attorneys.” Partners Steven Beer, Richard Beyman, Elliot Brown, Eric Brown, Nick Gordon, Matthew Lefferts, Neil Rosini, Michael Rudell, Rose Schwartz, Daniel Wasser and Ken Weinrib were listed in the Entertainment and Sports area of practice. John Vassallo, who is of counsel to the firm, was also selected in the field of Family Law.

According to the 2014 “Super Lawyers Magazine / New York Metro Edition,” the selection of attorneys uses a four-step selection process where lawyers are invited to nominate candidates of top attorneys, which a third-party independent research team then validate across 12 key categories using “indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.” Subsequently, the candidates are grouped into categories based on their practice areas and a panel made up of candidates with the highest points total are asked to rate their peers on a scale of one to ten. In the final selection process, those with the highest point totals from each category are selected. The publication indicated that “the final published list represents no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state.”
