Neil Rosini Guest Lectures at NYU Law School

February 24, 2021

On February 24, Neil Rosini was a guest lecturer via Zoom at the Entertainment Law class at New York University Law School regularly taught by partner, Rose Schwartz. In a two-part class, Neil spoke first about vetting nonfiction films for legal issues relating to copyright and fair use, publicity and privacy rights, and defamation. In the second half, Neil discussed how courts interpret contractual rights when older film, television, and other media agreements do not address new and unanticipated technologies such as online platforms. Rose has taught or co-taught the semester-long class for over 30 years and Neil co-taught with her for 7 of them.
