Jan 29, 2010 -- Rose Schwartz and Neil Rosini discussed copyright, privacy, underlying rights arrangements and other issues peculiar to performing arts organizations at the January meeting of Opera America in New York. Particular attention was paid to rights clearances for performing arts websites including issues of fair use and the use of music and celebrity images for promotional and commercial purposes. Representatives of opera companies throughout the country attended the two-day event.
