Neil Rosini will present on June 19, under the auspices of the Motion Picture Committee of the NYS Bar Association’s Entertainment and Sports Law Section a continuing legal education program entitled “The Singular Circumstances of Garcia v. Google: What happened? And what happens next?” The unusual facts of the case, the significance of work for hire agreements, the nature of a “copyright in a performance,” its distinction from joint ownership of an entire work, and implications of the Garcia decision for the industry, will be covered.
