"Intellectual Property in Film" discussed at 2014 WIPO World IP Day Event

Neil Rosini participated on a panel discussion on “Intellectual Property in Films” at the 2014 WIPO World IP Day event in New York at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law on Friday, April 25. The event’s theme this year was “Movies a Global Passion,” highlighting the importance of intellectual property in the TV/film industries. Neil spoke about fair use, insurance issues, and Garcia v. Google, a recent Circuit Court of Appeals decision which held that an actress owned the copyright in her performance.
