Nicholas Gordon

While the backbone of Nick’s practice is in the music business (recording and publishing), he is also involved in the firm’s other practice areas – film, television, theater, books, videos and digital media. He also represents senior level executives in employment negotiations.

Nick is listed in the annual independently researched Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, which cites him as one of the city’s “leading individuals” in Media and Entertainment commercial practice. Nick has also been listed in consecutive Super Lawyers New York Metro editions, including 2019.

As a speaker, Nick has lectured on various industry panels and has presented continuing legal education programs on new technology, recording and publishing agreements, minors’ agreements in the entertainment business and distribution arrangements.

He teaches Entertainment Law as an adjunct professor at New York University School of Law and has guest lectured at other educational institutions, seminars and forums.
