A combination of extensive entertainment law experience and a background in corporate and securities law enables Dan to work with clients on a broad range of business and legal issues. In addition to counseling clients as part of the firm’s theatrical practice, Dan also works with entertainment industry clients in connection with matters such as mergers and acquisitions and employment agreement for senior executives in public and private companies.

Dan is listed annually by Super Lawyers New York Metro edition in the field of Entertainment & Sports and in 2013, Dan was selected by American Lawyer Media and Martindale-Hubbell as a Top Rated Lawyer in Labor & Employment. The publication noted Dan's AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating, which shows he “has been deemed by his peers to have demonstrated the highest level of ethical standards and legal ability.”

Dan lectures frequently on theater law on behalf of the Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, the Commercial Theater Institute, and at Columbia University Law School.
